Roadmap to Jannah
Allah [swt] sent us a roadmap to Jannah. He said:
Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammadr) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much. [Quran, 33:21]
A Wise Guide Who Knows the Territory
There are two ways to guide someone to a destination: one is to draw a map and give it to him to follow, leaving him to interpret that map to the best of his ability; the other, far more certain way, is to send someone who knows the way to guide the seeker and simply tell that seeker, “Follow him. He will guide you.”
This is the way that Allah (swt) chose to show human beings the way to Jannah; He sent someone who knew the way and said, Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammadr) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.
Another very important matter implied in this ayah is where Allah (swt) said: for him who hopes in (the meeting with) Allah and the Last Day.
For Him Who Hopes for a Delightful Meeting
Let’s reflect on this. Who would hope for a meeting? Someone who expects that meeting to be pleasant and rewarding or someone who fears that meeting? Allah (swt) used the term يَرْجُو اللَّهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْآخِرَ (for him who hopes in Allah and the Last Day). It is being clearly stated therefore that for those who love Allah (swt) and have their hope in His mercy and in the certain meeting with Him, the way to ensure that this meeting will indeed be delightful is to follow the way of Muhammadr.
Just Like Today
The premise in writing the book– Leadership Lessons from the Life of Rasoolullahr— is that his times were so similar to ours and also that in those times, with almost no material resources, no political support, no army, and no country, he succeeded in taking his people from being the most insignificant to being role models for the world.
Therefore if we learn those lessons we can apply them to our own lives and achieve similar results. In a world focused on spreading hate based on lies, I believe the solution is to spread the truth. Fair people of integrity can read the facts and come to their own conclusions.
No matter whether someone loves Muhammadr or hates him, it’s undeniable that he’s had a huge impact on billions of lives for over 14 centuries. That is fact, not opinion, and can’t be ignored. So whether you love Muhammadr or not, you can’t ignore him. That’s a good reason to learn about him and come to your own conclusions.
My request is, read the book; apply the lessons and see if they work for you. What do you have to lose? It’s free! http://www.yawarbaig.org/yawarbaig/my-books/leadership-lessons
