In The Name of Allah, The Abundantly Merciful, The Always All Merciful: All perfect praise be to Allah alone; peace and blessings of Allah be upon His messenger, his family, his companions and those who follow his guidance.
A Blessing, a Mercy, and A Healer
The Quran is divine, yet so close and tangible to read and reflect on, making it a blessing to us in no uncertain terms.
Allah (swt) says: [This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded. [Quran, 38: 29]
Prophet (saw) said, No people gather in a house from Allah’s houses, to recite Allah’s book and study it together, except that serenity descends upon them, mercy envelopes them, The Angels surround them, and Allah mentions them to those that are with Him… [Muslim]
Instructions from Our Creator
The Quran is a book of instructions from our creator. It is an instruction manual for operating the most intricate and complex machine on earth— every human being sent by its maker. If we are lost not knowing how to operate the most mundane of machines without an instruction manual, why should we not take heed of the best book of lessons, given to us only through Allah’s infinite mercy, to conduct ourselves correctly in every matter?
Allah (swt) says: The Most Merciful, Taught the Qur’an, Created man, [And] taught him eloquence. [Quran, 55: 1-4]
The Most Compassionate tells us everything before it happens. He tells us of the immense reward awaiting us for the good that we have done so that we can work towards it. He warns us of the bad outcome seeking to surround us for the bad that we have done so that we can keep away from it. Allah (swt), our maker who knows our nature best, acknowledges that we are prone to make mistakes and shows us the course of action to follow, teaching us examples.
Life Lessons
Do we take life lessons from the examples of the earlier prophets and the stories Allah (swt) cites in the Quran? Have they become mere bedtime tales for our children, forgotten until the next evening?
The Quran can only be a true blessing and a mercy to us if reading the Quran strengthens our eman (conviction), increases our Islam (our complete submission to Allah), and improves our relationships with each other by teaching patience, forgiveness, and forbearance.
A Prescribed Cure
The Quran is a prescribed cure from heaven to heal our hearts and cleanse our minds. More than three quarters of the verses in the Quran talk to your inner self. The commandments of Allah form only less than a quarter. The Quran repeatedly reassures and motivates those who follow the truth, gives much relief and hope to those who return to Allah (swt).
More Mercy Than a Mother
It is our due responsibility then to read and understand the Quran as a book from our creator who really wants to guide us, who really wants to take us away from all forms of distress, and who has more mercy upon us than our own mothers.
Allah (swt) reveals: O mankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers. [Quran, 10:57]
Do we take the Quran to play the pivotal role in our lives?
Alhamdulillah, read both parts and the calmness i experienced while reading the articles was amazing, Ya Allah keep us steadfast on your Deen and dont make the love of dunya make us ungrateful to you, ALLAHUMMA AH INNI ALA ZIRIKA WA SHUKRIKA WA HUSNI IBADTATHIKA, AAMEEN!

The prophet (pbuh)said Those who read nine (9) verses of the Quran per day is the forgetful person. Therefore we must read daily minimum 10 verses. If we do not understand the meaning but able to read, we will be given 10 Sawab/Rewards for every Huruf /alphabet. Alif Lam Meem is not one Huruf but Alif one Huruf, Lam One Huruf and Mim one Huruf.(Hadith of the prophet p.b.u.h). We would get more Sawabs when we understand the meaning of the Quran/ayat/verse. Quran helps us when we move to the 4th world(Alam Barzah/Kubur/Grave) and the 5th world /everlasting world (Jannah/Hell).
We are now in the third world and in the second world is short time about 9 months+ in our mum’s stomach. In Arabic Alam=world and plural is Aa lameen (80,000 worlds created by Allah. World of Animals, Fish, Birds, Trees, Vegetables and many other worlds in detail). Allah question our soul during our stay in the First world: ALAS TOO BIRAB BIKUM? Am I your Lord? Our souls answered Bala! Yes! Refer Quran verse.
In the 5th world we would be answering four compulsory questions apart from other questions in the court of Allah. 1. Your age given by Allah and how you use it. 2. Your Knowledge given by Allah 3. Your Health given by Allah and 4. Your Rezk/Food, Drinks, Property etc. given by Allah.Refer Hadith/Saying of our prophet s.a.w.
The ladies would be asked four questions and would be given the master key of Jannah to those who could answer them: 1. Are you TAAT/follow the commandments to Allah? 2. Are you TAAT to the prophet and Rasul of Allah? 3. Are you TAAT to your husband? Did you take care the property of your husband?Refer Hadith of the prophet s.a.w.
